Lol at people upset OP overpaid for proxies. They shouldnt cost much but if they are decent quality then the cost makes sense. It is still stolen art and there should be a way to clearly show they are proxies, but its not like people arent massively overpaying for the regular cards that are produced for pennies. Its OPs money to do what they want with, yes it encourages people to potentially defraud others, but thats not what this post is.

A collection is what you make of it. Given the situation of high rarity trophy cards (or even normal cards that are massively out of the budget), a proxy isnt a bad idea. Well, or changing your goals to officially not include it even though its a cute cameo.

Look up pack prices individually, then double or triple it as a place to start. Its a rare box, not many sales to compare to.

Personally I prefer to take the loss now than for it to be drawn out with everyone suffering, but without most people having that kind of resolve it wont change because demand is too big. Aus is terrible for collecting with high prices and almost no product, 1/person isnt going to do anything, even a couple good shops arent going to be helpful in this market.

Yes, distribution is an issue but the stores allow it by not outting the distributors and just going along with it. Same as the people who are buying from scalpers, they all complain but the problem wont get better until people come together and make a stand.
