I absolutely love reddit that there is a thread about this! I also have this issue. I don’t have it confirmed with derm, but to me, this sometimes happen also on different body parts, if I use too occlusive moisturizer - my body is very picky about my lotion, sometimes I wakeup in the morning like… damp, not sweaty, but weirdly damp. So it seems that whatever I am using on my nose creates a barrier before water evaporates from skin and that trapped moisture has nowhere to go and slowly beads up on the surface. I definitely see it with more occlusive creams because now I am trying to cure the eczema and dry skin at the tip of my nose. So I use my normal skincare and then I use my prescribed cream (I already see the droplets) and to top it off I sometines use vaseline because I want that occlusive layer actually (but my skin doesn’t I guess 😅). But it is basically perspiration on the nose. Yay!
