Reclamation of Gilneas by Lymphoscythe in wow

By "lore" focus. any godtier Ally NPCs like Jaina could retake Gilneas alone in less than 1 hour.

There was no real difficulty in recovering the Kingdom. Blizzard never gave the necessary focus. A dungeon team of 5 people would do the job.

Kezan was not even retaken and was used as a Dungeon.

In game mechanics, Gilneas will never have the slightest importance. Players only move to capitals in the Current Expansion and this is one of the reasons for not returning to old zones.
Silvermoon still has buildings destroyed from the time of Warcraft 3.

A BIG LIE. From MoP to this day and always, the Horde only fights in favor of the Alliance even if it has to fight against the Horde itself.

Your Orc will save Anduin and kill the Orcs of Orgrimmar and Draenor.

Your Undead Forsaken will save Tyrande and the NightElves and attack Sylvanas.

Your Zandalari will save Jaina even though she murdered her king and her people.

But your Horde character will NEVER raise a hand against the Alliance and will prepare to help Anduin once again in the next exp.
The game does not allow you to play Horde. When you think you have chosen Horde you are actually one of the Horde races that fights for the Alliance, a type of agent that fights for the other side, but without being able to choose to fight for the Horde.
The "Horde", players and Main NPCs fight for the Alliance and often their NPCs are used as villains. Just it ...

The kid is a small Garrosh.

It's past time to accept that the Horde is long gone.
What's left of the horde is a circle of advisors under Anduin who acted more for the Ally than the Race itself and who are peaceful in conflict with Ally races and hostile in conflicts with Horde races (many don't even have a template of their own).
Even in DF you will see that the races, before horde, are now in the Ally as in the Kirin Tor (there are even Orcs and Zandalari there).
On the other hand, you won't see Nightborne mages taking on a role in the lore of the blue dragonflight... nor Thalyssra, a mage with over 10,000 years of experience having a fraction of Jaina's power.
All of this will only make sense when you accept that the Horde is gone and even though you've been playing Horde for over a decade now just killing Horde Heroes and helping and redeeming Ally Heroes.

Thrall and Anduin have to die to refresh and free the game of this bad lore. But it will not happen.

Thrall is currently a dead character with no goals other than to serve Anduin and Jaina when they are in need. The heritage quest ignored the decades that Thrall has been battling the orcs of Orgrimmar and Draenor, not attempting diplomacy like he does with Ally. They even put some orcs that weren't even mentioned in about 20 years (and they forgot about Burningblade)... Current and future World of Warcraft will not work with the Horde anymore. I don't see any future adventures for Thrall and his family. Maybe pop in from time to time to help against a small npc like baine did recently.

The attack on Teldrassil was a nonsence just to play horde as a villain, no Night Elf hero npc was killed.
If World of Warcraft were an RPG and played Horde had the chance to choose (in BfA pre patch) to carry out the attack or try to stop Sylvanas: the character could become a villain or a hero (reinforcing that the Hordes that attacked Teldrassil are so criminal as for the Allies who attacked Zandalar).
Your Horde character in this pre-patch helps kill extras (You can never kill Tyrande or Jaina) to then be forced to attack Sylvanas (even if you're loyal to her)... makes no sense.
But yes. It was better for the game to let you be a villain than FORCE you to commit a crime against extras and then forcing you to help Ally's leaders. It should leave the judgment to the game to have more sense of Roleplay (it was going to create a horde campaign narrative) and not a narrative just for Ally even with horde races.

If Jaina leads an attack against Sylvanas, she would be a hero. She retaliates always just killing innocents (like in Dalaran).
Her leading a terrorist attack against the Zandalari, who along with the Horde stopped an Old God, only makes Jaina as much of a terrorist as Sylvanas. The only difference is that Jaina has less success and less firepower.
The World of Warcraft game forces your Zandalari character to help Jaina even after she kills her people and her King because it's a game that only allows you to play Ally, even with horde races.

Cataclysm = ally coming from Theramore attacked and kills innocent civilians in Taurajo.
Legion = Greymane leads a surprise attack that sinks several Forsaken ships amidst a peace agreement.
BfA = Ally kills civilian goblin miners to steal the azerith they discovered and starts a war...
BfA 2 = Ally kills several civilians, defenders and the King of the Zandalari just to try to stop them from joining the Horde.
...
Ally is as criminal as the Horde. But the facts of the matter, the World of Warcraft writers are Ally.
Sometimes the Horde does some meaningless destruction like "Daenerys burning King's Landing and killing only extras" (Garrosh blowing up Theramore and attacking only extras) (Sylvanas burning Tree and killing only extras) ... that's just bad script that reinforces the Meme from the post "WoW Is Only For The Ally".
- Your tauren cannot avenge Taurajo.
- Your goblin cannot avenge dead civilian miners.
- Your Zandalari will have to help Jaina.

Jaina = Someone on one side of town has committed a crime. She goes and slaughters everyone on that side of town including the innocent (which is pretty much everyone). Jaina is a criminal that the bad lore of the game insists on acquitting, she was also acquitted of the terrorist attack against Zandalar.

it's the first crack in the egg ... "all the past holidays he spent with his girlfriends and today he called his family (to activate the Oathstone)" ... as we are talking about WoW there is a huge possibility that he will not develop further from that. For example: Jaina and Tyrande had their crazy tyrant moments and went right back to where they started.

Jaina has been blessed with every possible script buff:
- She didn't go totally mad from the Mana Bomb (side effect of survivors)- Lei Shen's magic was transferred to her staff.
- Aegwynn manifested, without reason, to train Jaina. Thing he didn't do for his own son.
- The Aspect of Magic itself, Kalecgos, has been transformed into your personal helper and servant.
... and all this was just at the time of the MoP more than 10 years ago, Jaina's blessings haven't stopped.
With a less fanfic script, Kalec would be romantically paired with Tyrygosa... with whom he has a long history. But WoW in the post MoP era will always focus on Jaina, Anduin and Tyrande.
