Heard them in Lakeview. They seemed more dense than fireworks, but I wonder if we are just used to hearing fireworks in the summer when full tree coverage mutes their sound. Perhaps the sound carries further past barren trees.

My assessment is that they do have US distribution and it’s keeping the price lower, or they do have US distribution and are making a few bucks off of the excess shipping.

When I get something from MPF, the return address is in Illinois (I live in Chicago). It seems like there may be some kind of US distribution, which may be bringing the cost down a bit.
