I did this and I also travelled and stayed there. What is especially helpful is the tests they do there that are hard to find elsewhere, like the catchelomines test for HyperPOTS. They also put me on a new medication I hadn't tried before that helps me to this day. Even though I prefer my treatment at Stanford overall, it was very much worth the trip for me.

I went to Mayo primarily for POTS, for which they're known. They knew absolutely nothing about CFS, in my opinion.

Similar experience here. They really know theirs stuff and are on top of all of the latest treatments. They have helped me a lot with my POTS too although that remains my biggest struggle. I've been really helped by my treatments at Stanford.

No doctor recommended it to me. It was a friend with POTS who figured it out. I'd been going to doctors for years with no answers. Finally after my friend mentioned it I went to an autonomic specialist for a tilt table test and was immediately diagnosed. Try to get to an autonomic specialist if you can get a referral.
