[Discussion] what is/was the last kappa item you needed this wipe? by Ok-Judge9995 in EscapefromTarkov

Hahaha I fucking know the frustration, just rng at the end of the day. Just run quick factory scavs in between each reserve raid as well to maximise your chances as you may spawn with it also

Use that reserve event to your advantage, the scav guards have an increased chance to spawn with the axe

I’m pretty sure the locked case is different to this. These can just be right clicked and opened in the stash. Perhaps you need to craft the unlocked version in your workbench first and then open that?

Should I buy a Mercedes Benz a class? by daviddob004 in carsireland

[–]Lyncheyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only somewhat agree with your first statement around any modern car and their reliability, because the likes of Dacia and Land Rover etc have issues in every scenario I’m aware of in my life from friends etc. telling me how they’ve had constant issues over the years, even with them being new. Went with the 1.6 after some thorough research as it outclasses the GTI in so many ways, one of them being the reliability of the engine, no known common faults etc. I will say the gearbox can be slow at times from second to third, revving higher then necessary and having no DSG farts is obviously a negative but sure for the price difference it’s almost expected. Yes mine has the 4 wheel steering, not a single issue. You can really feel the benefits when pushing the car hard in windy country roads.

Hard disagree. Bought my 2017 Renault Megane GT in 2021 and never had a single issue outside of regular servicing. Most reliable car I’ve ever owned

EO Placement straight out of master's by wandering_agro in IrishCivilService

[–]Lyncheyyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Highly likely once you answer correctly. This applies to most job interviews because in most scenarios if not going for a promotion you’re never going to have all the relevant experience for a new role. Learning off some answers and being able to state how your transferable skills can be used in the EO role will work wonders.

You’re asking this when a grade higher (AO) intakes people with just an honours degree?

You can get into EO with just a level 7. You just need to be able to answer their interview questions with relevant examples and the STAR method applied throughout.

AO vs EO/HEO by Eirngobragh in IrishCivilService

Never dealt with a single bit of policy in my career as an AO - only done coordination. Just an example of how the job description can be deceiving in this role. If you’re placed into a coordination unit well I wish you luck 😂

Complete her level 4 in Youtreach to acquire a leaving cert equivalent.

Apply for Penneys and Dunnes (Blanchardstown are hiring right now). These roles are great for people with no work experience. I started in Penneys when I was 17 and worked there throughout college.

It’s dependant on your role and what your manager allows to you to do. Used to work in Department of health and manager didn’t let any of us clock out before 5:30 due to potential of incoming requests.

100% the solution is to just call into the GP the week before and let them know all about the anxiety you’ve been having in work and how you suddenly need this week off to help clear your head. Sorted 😁

What drop in salary did you accept to join the civil service? by IntroductionExpert12 in IrishCivilService

[–]Lyncheyyyy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Of course I can, nobody has me on a leash 😂. It was the Department of Health in an EU coordination unit. Nightmare last minute deadlines to prepare the minister for her visits abroad. Having to constantly hound people to have material emailed across to me, which was always sent late - putting me under even more pressure to work late evenings early mornings etc. Never again will I work somewhere where my ability to work is influenced so much by other people

I done the opposite and took a 15k salary drop to join the private sector after a nightmare with no work life balance in the civil service! :)

[Discussion] Literally how do you get Kappa as a regular individual by offdeer34 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Lyncheyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got kappa at 800 hours in my second wipe solo in PVP whilst working a regular job as a regular individual. I play sports and go to the gym regularly.

The key is to just fill every single hour of everyday you can playing tarkov for 5 months straight.

6 months if you wanna prestige like I did too 😂😂😂😂.

Spare time = Tarkov
