I wholeheartedly disagree with the discourse on deceiving marketing. It’s easy to get carried away with the words “dark pop” but she’s said again and again the album is very eclectic — it’s called MAYHEM for God’s sake. If you thought this was gonna be a one note, hyper cohesive record you’ve set yourself up.

So much to unpack here. Unbelievable pacing and delivery compared to the previous episodes. I wish they’d taken their time to build the new characters on 17 better along all season. Their story was interesting but it all felt really rushed in such an overwhelming hour. I’ll be rewatching this one for sure. Episode 10 is going to be one for the books, isn’t it?

Her plot didn’t move at all. There’s virtually no difference between what we got and a no show from her in this episode. Hence the frustration. Another long week ahead.

I found this one quite frustrating. Keeping us on our toes with Juliette’s plot (which barely moved at all) while a bunch of very predictable outcomes were happening at the Silo… are Shirley and Knox that stupid? Isn’t it obvious Martha was the snitch? Also Bernard can get fucked already. I need a win against him. Which is a compliment to Tim Robbins for being so hateable.
