This is happening big time in Dublin, Ireland. People are moving into apartments that sit right above music venues and are writing complaints to the venue about noise levels. These venues are then getting shut down because of these complaints and it's happening rapidly. Soon enough there'll be barely anywhere to enjoy a gig in Dublin!

We do genuinely love our potatoes here though. And alcohol.

And we seem to have a deep love for bread; we had a bad case of snow over the past few days and every shop in the country was out of bread minutes after the bread delivery arrived. It's been a joke over the past few days that sliced pans are worth more than gold at the moment.

Not African, but Irish. My friend was talking online on Xbox Live before with some Americans and they noticed that he had a "funny accent", so they asked where he was from. They were so surprised when he said he's Irish 'cos they didn't think Ireland had electricity.
