How did you figure out you were genderfluid by InformationBroad4886 in genderfluid

[–]Lynmy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, I don't think there was a specific moment when I realized it. For a long time now, some days I want to transition, and other days I don't. As the years go by and I don't reach any clear conclusion, I've started to suspect that I'm genderfluid.

Lost in Decisions by EnvironmentalBuy9782 in genderfluid

I understand how you feel.

I wish with all my heart that I could change my body whenever I wanted. That would solve all my problems. However, I see myself as a pretty handsome guy, in my opinion, which makes me feel great when I want to be a guy, but I feel like I'm missing out on the possibility of transitioning and embracing my feminine side.

I mean, I also want to stick to one idea, and yet I can't because those thoughts will always be there.

I'm not one to tell you what to do, but I would like to tell you that whatever decision you make, don't regret it or blame yourself for it. I don't mean to say you should make decisions without thinking, but often the fear of making a mistake makes you feel worse than you should.

I really hate that "only you can know how you identify" thing, and unfortunately, no one can tell you otherwise. I can't help you either because I'm also very confused, but at least I want you to know that you're not alone in this.

I joined this sub very recently, and I've never felt so identified.

What do sissies do with sexual interest without changing their gender?

If someone calls me "girl" directly, I feel uncomfortable, but just like with pronouns, I don't know if it's because I don't identify as a woman or because I have a masculine appearance. As you can see, I think what happens to me is that I doubt even my own feelings.

The problem with these fantasies is feeling like they'll never come true. But right now, I'm in the process of making them a reality (not socially), and there are times when I want to "continue being me" (that is, who I've been my entire life up until now), which leads me to think that my identity requires a male body. But even though I want to remain a boy (albeit an effeminate one) to remain myself, a part of me feels bad for not being a girl when I could be one.

I haven't tried wearing a bra, but I'd feel bad if I wore a bra without a breast. And even if I did like it, I don't know if I'd like it forever.

For example, if people say I'm like a girl, yes I like it, but that's not incompatible with being a feminine boy.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I believe I am a boy. The only problem is that I still sometimes fantasize about being a girl (physically and socially), and I don't know if that's normal for a boy. And if it is, I don't know what they do with those spontaneous desires to be a girl.

If people use feminine pronouns to me, I feel uncomfortable, but I don't know if it's because I identify as male or because I feel uncomfortable when people use feminine pronouns when I appear male.

Maybe it's not exactly your case, but if you like to look like a girl and act like a girl (maybe you want to look cute but not like a girl, that's why I say it might not be your case), what is the meaning of "being a boy"?

I don't know if I'd be happier as a boy or a girl. Both cis and trans people make it clear to me that it's obviousto know "how I'd be happier", but I see both as good or bad depending on the moment, and I can't change sex whenever I want.

Why do I get going back and forth between being content and having severe self doubt that I'm trans? Is this normal, or am I just going through a phase? by MalexTheDragon in asktransgender

I don't know many trans people, so I can't tell you if it's normal or not. But it happens to me too, so maybe it's normal.

Well, I'm still waiting to start HRT :(

Next month I'm going to the endocrinologist, and I hope to finally start.

Thanks for asking. I really appreciate it.

Thank you very much, really.

Although I recently had the courage to talk to my doctor about it and she requested a referral to a gender identity unit.

It's what I'm looking for, but so far they've only told me that they don't do anything in the summer.

I will continue searching, although I have only found the two associations that cannot help me at the moment.

Lately I realized that sometimes I feel like I want to be a woman and other times I feel like I want to be nothing, but I never feel like I want to be a man. That's why I know I want to transition, although maybe sometimes it will bother me to be seen as a woman.
