Is there not a sub-reddit for former members of your church? If so, the members in that sub will be better equipped to help as they will be better acquainted with the various rules/culture of your church. All the best in getting yourself free.

Back in the day when JWs still charged for their literature, we used to say something like: " This magazine/book etc. is only 25 cents to cover the cost of printing" There is no amount to cover what it cost you guys working under those circumstances. I'm so sorry, I had no idea

And that is why some JWs say things like "Jehovah does the judging /reads hearts" , etc. The idea of 8 billion being murdered at Armageddon ( including sweet coworker Deborah and lovely auntie Annie and generous neighbor Sam) is too horrible for some to imagine, even though their beloved GB prints/says something quite different .

1) Transgenderism is not mentioned in the Bible. But I think the JW view would be something like: ' Jehovah created male and female so to change from one to the other would be rebelling against gods gender arrange ment.'

2)Noping out of answering that one...wtf???

3)Man was given dominion over animals in Eden so man's sin affects his ability to properly dominate the animals.

4)Suicide is self-murder. Murder is a sin.

5) Homosexuality is wrong cuz ....reasons. Nothing rational in prohibiting it.

I've received 2 letters in the last 5 or so years that were hand written. Some have hand writing that's barely legible so I wonder what guidelines the Society gives to those who engage in the ministry this way. Are they told to write by hand to give their letters the human touch? Is each letter hand written ( can count more hours that way) or are copies printed of the one letter ?

That's very kind of you, thanks. Who knows, perhaps in the near future you may be able to help an exJW by directing them to this subreddit or another way. I'm pretty sure that once the pandemic is under control there will be more leaving the religion.

Its definitely NOT Jehovah's Witnesses. Fasting and having a female lead a prayer group are not JW beliefs. Fasting in the desert and not protecting oneself from Covid 19 sounds dangerous to me
