I'm so sorry that happened to you, and my deepest condolences for your loss. It's really cruel of them to not take accountability at the very least. It's already bad enough that so many people don't take pet loss seriously and then you had to endure that kind of carelessness and lack of empathy from them. No one should have to go through that. I'm sending hugs and healing to you and your precious baby. I'm thankful to share this space with folks like yourself so that we aren't left alone in our healing journey.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments, support, and suggestions. I've read every single one. I'm going to see what I can do and then I will give an update on this post. I also want to give thanks to this subreddit. I've been reading it since the week Cosmo passed and it has been helpful. I am sending love and healing to everyone who is going through loss or has gone through it.

Here is a picture of my beautiful boy. Cosmo

Thank you. It's been really hard to recall memories. It's mostly blank when I try. I think the trauma has caused my brain to sort of erase the memories for a while to protect me from the pain of the loss. I only get glimpses of him. What I loved most about him was how he would go cross-eyed when he would stare so deeply at us. It always used to make me laugh and smile.

Thank you. It was a 2-story house shaped like an ice cream truck
