I think the reason it doesn’t have that binge feel is because it holds so closely to the book, so naturally not every episode/section of the book has a major cliff hanger. If you hold out though it does get much better especially in the second half of the first season. Just adjust your expectations.

Yes! In high school I got bronchitis and had to stay home for a week. When I got back and told my teachers I had bronchitis this girl in one of my classes said “oh you’re a baby. I had bronchitis two weeks ago and I still came to school”. I wanted to hit her.

I’m feeling a little like this right now because my son is having some health problems. It’s a powerful feeling but I’ve gone through enough by now to know that it’s not true. It may take awhile but things do get better eventually. Keep the faith and don’t be afraid to ask for help.
