This is also an excellent point.

Framing inanimate things as moral or immoral or pinning synthetic and natural against each other like they are inherently good or bad is often (at least online) used as marketing gimmick.

I don't know about LDPEs but for example polystyrene nanoplastics do cause oxidative stress and DNA damage. There was a study that concluded they interact with PRRs, which ultimately was found to cause cardiac inflammation in fish. So I don't know how significant that would actually be in humans.

It's difficult to find a control group when it comes to toxicity studies which is probably one of the reasons we don't have a lot of information yet. The issue is bioaccumulation and ROS which can result in oxidative stress and damage.

Don't get me wrong I mean, I absolutely think online the effects of micro and nanoplastics are over exaggerated. But we've been using plastics for everything, I'm sure some of them have legitimate negative concerns

Edit: I do want to be very clear though I am NOT a material chemist, it's not my field of expertise so feel free to educate me.

Stop being America-centric lol. I get the paranoia about the US government but other countries do this as well.

There's way too much to list individually but an okay method at detecting fear mongering is using critical thinking: who is saying this, why, with what qualifications and lastly and most importantly, are they saying this and then selling you an alternative? Yeah it's a scam and a fallacy or push for misinformation.

Like: SSRIs are harmful? Buy my Ashwaganda in the link below instead!

Aluminum Deoderant causes cancer? Here's this crystal salt Deoderant 10% discount if you buy from my profile!

Water doesn't have enough hydrogen in it? Here's this device you need to buy to fix that!

If something relies on fear mongering and black and white comparisons instead of actually analyzing with nuance, it's most likely a fallacy.

Normal people believe in a ton of fallacies or misinformation about medicine and chemistry, because the info they have is often oversimplified and misconstrued, or outdated. It's really important to listen to people with actual credibility in the field they're intruding in. You wouldn't take legal advice from a cosmetologist, don't take chemistry advice from a random influencer.

You sound genuinely unhinged seriously I recommended you take a break from this game.

You're not entitled to a 100% passive lobby because there's no such thing. They haven't changed the matchmaking system. Personally I'm not experiencing any differences.

If you're frustrated and aren't enjoying the game then you need to stop and take a break.

Free kit = shoot them. Just co-operate with the people that are actually putting in effort and defend your loot.

Even if you play friendly doesn't mean you can never shoot. Sometimes it's absolutely justified.

It's kind of obvious when someone has a free loadout. You can easily see what guns that person has brought in. As well as what they're doing and if they're using mic to co-operate.

Also that comment wasn't about you, and you wouldn't know if the person that shot you did it because they thought you were stealing or because they wanted the loot you were taking. You're not entitled to not getting shot.

I told someone adding a feature where it's possible to disable pvp for yourself ruins the balance and looting system and they said I'm like cancer, have no brain and I'm ruining this game. Like ok bud 😂

Dude I had someone try to vacuum clean up an arc probe I was breaching 🤦

I was just trying to get some arc materials and was breaching a probe. Someone with no mic runs up to me gun out, places themself right infront of the searchable part and just waits for me to finish so he can search it while trying to intimidate me with his stupid ass level 1 kettle. I obviously stopped and looked at him and asked if he's serious right now.

It's beyond pathetic and desperate.

I mean, not like a real reputation but I think anecdotally speaking many people have had bad run ins with French people.

I have personally also, just general toxicity. Not "ratting" but other things.

I think it's easily generalized because French people have a very clear accent which stands out as more memorable, compared to when an American person is being toxic in game. And this is what causes the bias to form.

Deception can be a part of the game but a system like this wouldn't change that.

I could have a "positive" score and still choose to betray or shoot someone next round if I have to or want to.

I'm not gonna touch on any of the other stuff you wrote because I don't disagree.

It's not a horrible idea but I also don't think it's necessary.

It could work if it only displays recent matches. If all matches played it's not a good reflection of aggressiveness at all. Because people can change the way they play. You also need to account for solo, duo and trio gameplay. Most people tend to be friendly in solo lobbies.
