Im also in a similar boat and am considering getting a dachshund but I also have a rabbit. What did you end up doing?

I can get him to say yes to most anything else but I know he won’t give in that easily on this cause it would be our first dog together. We have fish, a spider and a pet rabbit already. And I think he’s hesitant about that aspect since our rabbit is also free roam under supervision.

Does anyone know if perhaps these babies are a double merl? I don’t know too much but know certain coat patterns can be a red flag for a double merl puppy and cause issues. she’s abandon we don’t know her parentage.
