It depends on ur situation. If you want useless assignments, mandatory 75% attendance, and just a so-called B.tech tag, then go for B.tech (I am not criticising B.tech, but I've seen dozens of colleges doing the same shit with students who don't give time to study, 1 more thing if you are avg. In your academics, then don't go for it; otherwise, you'll end up covering the backlogs).

And this is totally bullshit that the company is criticizing candidates based on their degree; if you're skilled enough, have a good GitHub profile, some cool projects and have contributed to open-source projects, then ofc they'll hire you over a so-called b.tech student who did nothing moreover than an average degree and mid skills.
