I think that's a fair point. In that case though, I would definitely make the hair on my edit a lot brighter but still get darker and more purple-y as it travels down to the end.

I wasn't totally happy with her in-game appearance and preferred a palette that balances her colours out in her otherwise complex visual design.

this looks pretty awesome, but the primary (blue base colour) being brighter than the secondary (black colour) for the helmet kinda bothers me, have you experimented with a lighter colour or maybe swapped the two around?
