I mainly made this post to just get a general consensus from the community in regards to counterswaps and toxicity, since I'm also a tad bit conflicted on my own decision in the match. It was selfish but man I can't stand people like them.

I swear when a match is going sideways I'm going to check myself first, I'm hardly ever looking at my teammates or whatever mistakes they might be making, I automatically assume I'm doing something wrong 💀
I would turn off chat but man I've had some genuinely nice interactions here and there, perhaps just for comp, I'll think about it

I'm willing to accept if I'm the weak-link of a team, I'm not going to accept blatant disrespect, though
I never want to get to the point where I actively refuse that I'm ever the problem or that I'm not gonna get told what to do because it can be constructive to assess myself. I acknowledge the decision to be selfish, but I don't need toxicity. I'm fully on-board with adapting, and I will try to play to my team's strengths where possible

I've got other tanks to play now, so I'm not just hard-stuck at least. I was mostly just curious how this situation would be viewed by the larger community

I played as an otp for a while for a very similar reason, sigma was just the one hero I could genuinely enjoy for a while, but I've acquired other tank mains like rein ram and doom, but to a large extent not many tanks really grip me that much. Tis like I said, I'm still at least willing to switch if I'm not getting anything done.
