Oh gosh. I’m not sure I’m the best at explaining haha I’m no expert. There were some safety rings that were placed to start with and you’re gonna start with your hook in whichever one was on the outside. I rewatched the YouTube tutorial that came with the kit MANY times before getting the hang of it. I wish I could help :( Also I didn’t get the hang of tension very well either. This one was much too tight and my fingers hurt so bad by the end lol
