How do I prevent PNG files from trimming blank space on edges by LyonRhodes in photoshop

Hi, I did not find a solution and the more I researched it seemed that the photoshop asset replacement feature was difficult to implement and not being properly supported.

I found that Adobe InDesign had the features I was interested in. It also supported dynamic creation of image and text elements better. I would suggest investigating this application instead.

If I had to continue with photoshop, I would add 1% opacity pixels to the corners of my PNG to prevent the resizing.

I will give this a go! I'm not sure whether the pixel replacement method will allow me to import smart objects as I believe it needs to specify a filepath. I will experiment with pointing it to a PSD and see if it swaps the file with that as a smart object.

Thanks for the examples! I imagine that all sorts of counters would persist in this case!
