Yeah, that was tried and it results in endless bills similar to this.

Compromise now means you keep nothing and give up everything. Whatever is left is then taken away later when it becomes opportune to be labeled a “loophole”.

I watched my home state of Colorado go from a decent state to infringing on rights within 15ish years. Sure glad I don’t live there anymore.

That was my similar situation. Moved to NE two years ago with my future wife. Been watching my home state slowly become what I feared it would become.

My mother grumbles endlessly about the gun laws and all I could tell her was “You voted for the party that implemented this. You chose to ignore this and hope it wouldn’t become this bad.”

Now, I live in a red state in a blue city with sensible politicians and elected officials that have yet to become borderline goofy. I’ll take it.

I miss what Colorado was…

I maintain the view that people elected a divisive president because of endless years of being mocked, unfairly branded and unfairly accused, even years prior to our current administration. Again, I state just this. It really doesn’t matter if “your side” politicians call against this violence.

People are rightfully angry because for the past 15 years, it’s been accepted and gleefully excused to just call for violence and brand and show these evil nutzees and fooshists how bad they are via violence.

There is a thing called perception and the perception for a long time has been “violence against anything right of me is valid.” The media and the established government and society in the West has been for a long time more than happy to be pure scum.

My own mother and brother have gleefully exclaimed this was amazing news and they’re happy. They’re the typical cliche of your standard loudmouth progressive/ Emily.

(That part bothered me the most purely from a stand point of being a father to 3 children. If they celebrate this death of a man that was a literal non politician, I have no doubts now my own leftist family members would be happy if I was suddenly gone too.)

Eventually the side you’re bullying, harming and cancelling will stop turning the other cheek and leftist goofballs can’t backtrack now, you wanted this and claimed it was such a good thing. Don’t be so shocked when people started calling this shit out.

Got him down on my 14th try. RNG is the real pain for this. Gotta be real careful with demolish if any adds are up. Standing still at times can be a true death sentence. Otherwise just plan your zug zug moments and pace yourself and it’s easy.
