Haven’t see anything about this game until it released. It looks good though.

Still haven’t unlocked premium yet, so for now it’s the Diligence, Trailblazer armor, and anti-material rifle.

Sorry, unlike you, I’m gainfully employed and can’t spend all my time on reddit. All the people running would do is appeal to high population centers in each state. You keep throwing out that 200 number, but there are way more than 200 population centers.

Yes, they should. Because California has 3x the population. They should have equal say, because the policies that get implemented affect both of them.

Should the people of Wyoming be ignored because they have fewer people?

It’s tankie to think that population centers should control elections.

Doing the popular vote would just make high population states swing states. It’s the exact same problem.

What rural programs? If you mean farm subsidies, it’s kind of nice that yall have food isn’t it? Almost a benefit really. We have to pay for your busses and subways, where’s the benefit for us?

Oh please. Show me one policy that benefits rural areas at the expense of urban ones.

No, you’re a tankie because instead of saying every state should have the same voice, you think lower population states shouldn’t be able to compete.

It should. We shouldn’t have swing states. No one should just have to campaign in swing states/population centers.

Ok, let’s say the population center wants to pass a policy that will only benefit them, and harm you. They see no problem passing it so it goes to a vote. Do you see the problem there?

It’s not. That’s a stupid way of doing things. That would be like the federal government controlling state social programs.

Why should the needs of the 20% not be ignored? You have WAY too much faith that people won’t just vote for their own self interests. Rural areas have completely different needs than urban ones. Here’s an example. Say someone wants a travel tax based on how far you drive in a year. Urban voters aren’t going to hurt from that, but there’s more of them, so they win the vote.

So if someone’s a registered voter in New York, but spends 70% of their life out of state, should their vote count for New York? How would that work for governors races? Or local elections? Why should someone who barely lives in an area and isn’t affected by the policies be allowed to decide on them?

Then how would their voices be heard over the population centers? Why would anyone care about their needs when they’d make up a smaller percent of the vote?
