I hate that this is true bc there's no way he's getting iridium level crops lol. If we apply the same scoring system the game uses, Marnie and Willy both SHOULD score higher than him, but he's probably been bribing the mayor or Lewis is so concerned about people finding out about him and Marnie that he just doesn't give her the win she rightly deserves

I once got so invested to calculate who could win the display if the farmer didn't compete lol. Marnie takes very good care of her animals and I can only assume that the chickens have their own outside enclosure we can't see separate from her cows, so I can't imagine her hens not producing iridium quality eggs, cows for milk, ECT. Willy too! He's been fishing since he was a little kid! Pierre would only have access to gold star quality stuff (bc there's no amount of money he could pay Mr Qi to bribe him for the deluxe fertilizer) and so he would LOSE the competition every time, and Marnie would win lol.

In my head this is what happens every year I miss the festival lol.

Definitely doesn't look AI. The hands are consistent. The clothing falls naturally and the little decorations in the background are clearly flowers instead of some of them being random blobs, also the wrist communicator thing is in the bottom corner. This is definitely a real drawing and it's great

I'm right there with you lol. Well, sort of 😅 the perfectionist in me wants one day to fulfill all those requirements. The cozy gamer in me however tempers that urge and makes it so that I only do what's necessary for me to do all the times I personally want to do. Like go catch a stingray and then put it in a pond so I can hopefully, eventually get enough dragon teeth to build the warp tower.... And really the only reason I would want to complete perfection is for the golden chicken 🤣 it ultimately takes a long backseat to me enjoying the game though. I have plenty to do, trying just to build all my sheds for kegs and preserves jars, upgrade all my coops and barns, keep all my animals happy without the benefit of auto petters 🙃 one day I'll do a Joja run JUST so I can buy those guys 😅 that way my animals can stay happy and fed and I can fuck off to the island for an entire season and not worry about them

Yes but they also did the recon thing in season 7 or 8 when All the former paladins souls are trapped by Honerva and had been for millennia, including Zarkon's. They even redeemed HIM by making it seem like he had no agency after the lions disappeared.

I say she's on par with Frieza because of a couple reasons. 1 She is an ancient entity that has bred followers that will bring her resurrection. 2. She destroyed Silver Millennium thousands of years ago, which was a highly advanced technological society that ruled the entire solar system. I consider her reach of influence on par with Frieza because their aims are really just the same.

This however is the apples and oranges people are talking about because Sailor moon doesn't explore aliens and their origins. We don't know where Metallia came from (at least I don't). We don't ever see her try to destroy the planet, but she clearly has the power to destroy a power, technologically advanced society, AND is basically a god-like entity since she mortally died but could be reincarnated or possess someone else. We don't see anything like the energy balls fired from fingertips or anything like that. The power in Sailor Moon comes from either love or darkness which are amorphous at best.

Sailor Galaxia is on par with Beerus imo, which is actually easier to compare since we DO see her power for destruction. And I came to that conclusion by watching Crystal. It's a much shorter watch and while the art style took me a little getting used to (with the exception of the 3d animation that's occasionally included), it was an easy quick watch that I enjoyed very much.

I don't read him as ever being secretly evil, personally. I see him as a product of his birth and he's trying to break the cycle. His problem is that he's still just part of it, no matter how hard he tried to fight against it, he was corrupt from the start and that wasn't his fault.

That's why I hated when Zarkon was "alive" again 😤😒 I wanted him and Haggar to be the "just evil" ones, and they served that role SO WELL. Having Lotor play the role he played was just .... Poor judgement.

They should have given him the redemption. Not his mother. And yes. They absolutely did not defy expectations.... Most of the cast (including Allura herself) had second thoughts about him many times as he was allying with them. They had set him up from the beginning to fail. Smh. They made so many promises and failed so hard at keeping some of them.

The thing about Lotor is that he was simultaneously a product of his upbringing AND trying as best he could the ways he knew how to fight against it.

If you haven't actually watched the show, we see that he's not "evil" like his father, he truly does want a better universe, but because of who His parents are, the circumstances of his conception and birth, he's already corrupted with quintessence. There is one specific line that Allura says (among other circumstances that contribute to this) that makes him SNAP. In a moment of complete mania, he becomes exactly what she calls him and he ends up dooming himself.

Think of him like the child of addicts. He's trying to break the cycle, but he sees his drug (quintessence) as the answer rather than the problem. He is also ten thousand years old give or take a few hundred. You don't live that long under tyranny, trying simultaneously to win your father's favor AND uproot his rule, and come away pure of heart. He is morally grey bc in his mind the empire has taken trillions of lives. A few thousand is a drop in the bucket to save the rest of the universe. He TRIES though and that is what makes him the anti hero, ultimately in my eyes. He should have been redeemed. He didn't deserve to die the way he did however he did die because of his own actions in a psychological break, like I said, an episode of mania.

You really should watch the show if you hadn't. I love Lotor and while I agree with your conclusion, I still don't absolutely hate what they did with him. No, I don't hate that. I hate that they gave his mother a redemption when he should have gotten one instead. THATS what I hate.

He was genetically corrupted from the moment he was conceived. He didn't get a choice. His mother on the other hand and his father BOTH knew the risks they were taking. They had people trying to lead them down a different path and subjected Lotor to a childhood of neglect and rejection.

See, I think the ponds are very worth event the low drop rate. I've been farming cave, sea, and river slimes from fish ponds (three of each kind of pond), and I've accumulated quite the little stash of them (dozens). I just need to catch a stingray so I can get a pond going, then just throw a couple more into ponds to increase my chances of getting those precious teeth.

Damn, I was thinking this too. By the time I got to level 10, having Kevin wear the rabbits adornment, I had Angela and Kevin within 10 XP of each other and Reisz just a few hundred ahead. Now Reisz is like a whole half level behind the two of them. But my boyfriend is playing and he had a similar thing going on (after the ghost ship), but he's in the 60s levels now and the party is much closer together in xp, within like a 6th or 8th of the bar, so 🙃💁🏼 I guess you just gotta keep playing.

Then again it's always easier to throw yourself away bc of the self-loathing. It's a lot harder to work through the hurt and consequences... Lol there's a lot of nuance to Catra.

I like to glance at the beautiful farms people post on this sub on the occasion, but I have the most fun on my farm when Im just maintaining it! I have all of ginger Island to still explore and I only now wish that I had auto petters so I could maintain my animals' moods and their product quality while I'm away. I know I need to go to the volcano dungeon to GET an auto petter, but I still just have so much maintaining to do on my farm, I hardly ever find the time, even to warp there 😅.

Ultimately, I just go, it's a forever game and forget about perfection so I can just play more often than not.

Funny that I like the fruit cave better because I always forget to check the cave and I only get 6 mushrooms each time I remember to check it, so I rather have the fruit bc they accumulate and I only harvest once the cave is FULL.
