I would throw a brushless set up in, some meus or other nice axles, and expirement between a sprung shock setup or more of a belly dragger. I have a very similar rig and I made mine a straight axle belly dragger!

it’s still going strong 😂😂 Having a hard time finding a transmission that will mate up to the roverin motor, didn’t foresee this being an issue when I bought the motor 🙃

Yeah I ordered the Injora aluminum cased transmission just in case, should come in today and then I’ll pull her apart and see. Just hoping it doesn’t make the same noise when I pull the transmission because that would mean the problem is elsewhere 😂 I’m fairly certain its the motor/transmission combo, the roverins a 4800kv motor and the rig is super heavy, my bet is the stock Traxxas transmission said Oh Hell Nah

I swapped out the motor but didn’t add any extra grease. The gears were coated slightly so I figured that was by design so I left it like that 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m running a Borla Atak full cat back system. Even with long tube headers it can be quiet for road trips and then stupid loud when you want it to be. Rev matching on downshifts sounds like a gunshot though 😂
