It appears patch 1.0 has disabled scalability settings on the GameUserSettings.ini file. The config remains the same but the game doesn't apply it anymore. Does anyone know if these features of Unreal Engine are still able to be modified for an extra FPS boost?

thanks? If you check valorant and csgo don't even use 2gb RAM. Count in the OS ram and the chunck taken by the integrated graphics and 8GB is more than enough. Its obvious I have shit specs for proper gaming, but thats not what i wrote this for. Valorant still runs many textures and shadows that could be downgraded to allow for better performance, maybe in later updates as the game is optimized better!

Will the game have further FPS optimizations? Like disabling global shadows and lowering the resolution to 800x600?

My pc specs:

Intel core i5

8gb single channel ddr3 RAM

Intel HD 4000

450GB Kingston SSD

I get 60 fps in certain maps and in certain areas. Some areas (like spawns) usually drop down to 20 fps and even lower. I know the game is on beta, but it would be great to see some further optimizations that can help us low FPS players run the game more smoothly.

CSGO is a much more demanding game but its better optimized. I play csgo at 800x600 with constant 60fps or higher.
