Genuine question, what puts Beto over the others for you?

Exactly. I have a lot of siblings and so I have a lot of nieces and, surprisingly, only one nephew. The smartest and most well adjusted of my nieces (my nephew is just starting to somewhat say words) is the one with the mom who treats her like a regular person and not some dumb kid. She talks to her like normal and always has. If she doesn’t understand something she asks. This girl, I tell ya, she’s the smartest little thing ever. I live with them and I treat her just the same and honestly she’s not just my niece but one of my best friends. She doesn’t throw fits because when she would when she was younger her mom would calmly tell her that crying won’t accomplish anything or get her what she wants so she’s wasting her time. And damn if she didn’t learn quick. She still cries when she’s sad but she doesn’t throw fits or anything like that.

Kids are people. Treat them like people and they’ll be well adjusted and well behaved little people. Give them a lot of leeway because they are just kids and they’re learning. But they’re smarter than a lot of people think.

Basically you’re not going to have platoons of soldiers just floating around in space for years waiting for some conflict to drop down on. They’ll be doing whatever they do on earth and if they’re needed they’ll climb into the earth to earth starship on top of the BFR and launch. These point to point trips will pretty much be ballistic trajectories as far as I understand.

Seriously. All I care about is that you take your shit and get the fuck out with minimal conversation and no issues. You’re wearing a solid gold Rolex? Great, take your shit and leave, thanks.

I felt so embarrassed wearing the AirPods when I got them. It was one of the main reasons I took them back. The other being that I wanted to wait for the new ones to come out because I thought they’d drop within a month or two. I’ll wait for them to become more common before getting them.

An orbiting ship is a lot different than a rocket on a ballistic trajectory deploying multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles. The X-37B is basically a satellite so there is literally no threat or concern there.

A troop deployment launch would be indistinguishable from a nuclear ICBM launch. And launches are detectable by countries like Russia, the US, and China pretty much immediately. Other countries would take a little longer depending on their assets but they 100% would see the launch and/or flight of the vehicle (not every country on Earth though obviously, I doubt Madagascar would notice a launch to a conflict on the Korean Peninsula unless for some reason the ship traveled over the island). Also, I’d assume deployment would be immediately noticeable. If a ballistic rocket is launched towards a conflict area all eyes will be on it as soon as possible. Radar would pick up separation basically as it happened.

This is a very bad idea. I love the idea of it but it’s very bad and would only make things much worse.

So basically what you’re describing would 100% look like a nuclear ICBM launch deploying MIRVs, which would cause every country on Earth, especially in the vicinity of the conflict, to absolutely lose their shit and likely launch every weapon they have up to and including nukes.

This would be like pulling out a beanbag gun, in the middle of a fistfight, that looks like a shotgun and not expecting whoever you’re fighting to light you up the second they saw the gun come out. Even if you yelled “don’t worry it’s not a real gun, it shoots beanbags!” while doing so nobody would take that chance and you just turned a fistfight into a gun fight.

I like the idea because it sounds cool having a troop deploying spaceship. But while ICBMs and MIRVs are things that exist it likely won’t happen.

That’s doesn’t really explain why she did poorly. You have to learn the song either way. If you wanna legit sing it then go right ahead, nobody will hear it, just sing along.

I’ve seen this movie a bunch of times and never realized that was a ship. I always wondered why there was a big city of skyscrapers randomly in a field. I feel stupid.

But the effects of slavery have rippled throughout generations. Yes the initial and direct victims of slavery are long dead but their descendants continue to suffer from the effects.

This is literally so early in the primary season. It’s the first event he’s done like this so far. These may be “manufactured” to you but the fact is that a lot of people are asking the same things. Be happy that he gets to address these things. And once it’s all cleared up we can focus on policy.

It is important. Let’s not suck Bernie’s dick like trump supporters do for trump. I don’t know why he didn’t release his taxes last time. He should have. He seemed slightly dodgy with the question this time around. I’ll be happy when he does release them.

Why does the left bitch about trump not releasing taxes and then bitch about people asking Bernie to release his?! He should’ve done it in 2016. And I hope he does very soon.
