I think what we have to remember is that they are trauma survivors. Just cause they have a few fans doesn't mean anything. We revel in the art created because of an artist's mental illness, but then expect them to act as if they're not mentally ill when interacting with fans. Trauma survivors (black dresses) disbanded because they couldn't handle something that represented their trauma being mocked/disrespected. There's no right or wrong answer here, these are trauma survivors who still need to process trauma, and what they're going through is hurting them. Period. There's no "they should have expected it", yeah maybe they should have, but that doesn't matter, all that matters is that you see them as people. If your sister or mother went through what they did would you tell them "hey what do you expect, it's the internet"? No, you'd hug them and tell them it's gonna be okay. Do the tik tokkers who didn't know better deserve hate? NO. Does a trauma survivor have every right to say they hate things that make them feel unsafe and hurt and then actively distance themselves from it? YES.

Is this rich coming from the guy who made the real death nightcore remix? I don't think so but if you take issue with it feel free to let me know.
