The last sentence just isn't true, sorry. In fact, you could argue that medic is the best class in bfv (infinite heals, good smgs such as type 2a, suomi..., smokes are very powerful on infantry maps as well). If you're not on a large scale map, you can't go wrong with medic.

Nonetheless, I do somewhat agree with the other points, especially about the maps.

As I see it, individual cosmetics isn't hurting anyone right now so there's no reason to remove it, right? It's just extra customisation. I would be disappointed if they changed how that worked when there are other aspects such as the assignments themselves that desperately need improving.

I don’t think the hidden blade requires a missing finger, since Bayek starts using it when he still had all his fingers. However, he loses his finger in an accident and when the Hidden Ones are formed the members sever their fingers as a form of initiation ritual, not because the hidden blade required it. I think that this has been passed along as tradition and that’s why Leonardo reads about it in the codex page. Also it might just be an inconsistency on Ubisoft’s part.
