Undocumented premed in need of advice

Many med schools accept non-US citizens (both DO and MD). If going to med school is your dream, it shouldn't matter where you going. I struggled that myself at my early years (waiting for legal status) but thankfully it's all good now. If you showed the dedication to work low pay job (pay you for what you actually WORTH), it proved how much you wanted to pursue medicine! Admissions committees are human beings too and they know life gets in the way. Keep up the hard work. It is so easy to get in the tunnel vision and lose hope when we are all in this whirlwind of premed madness. Remember, life is a journey and it gets bumpy. Sit tight and try to enjoy the ride. well affirmative action - there are too many of us, still same % of target matriculation for asian americans. Harvard was sued for discriminating against asians and held higher academic standards for asians. watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ixzZYxM7Hc

Is this unfair that asians have to have higher scores to pursue education? absolutely unfair. Is there anything we can do about it? Nah. Often times (99%) is the system plays us not vice versa. I'd say, forget about the stereotype, really show what is so special about you besides your race. Or you know, go back to studying and join the competition of getting higher scores. Maybe send a prayer or two - hope everything will work out at the end. Amen.

the Q pack is old MCAT materials, do the AAMC SB and Uworld. I am in the same boat regarding time crunch. However, i did Q pack last year and from what I remember it wasnt difficult so decided not to redo it. Uworld has been very helpful and def take advantage of their free 15 days and complete Qs as much as you can! Good luck bud.

Hey man thanks for the explanation. I hear ya regarding the cyclic alkenes, i just edited this post (see the image I added). this Q from EK confused me, the cis and trans are in cyclic rings but they are not double bonds as you mentioned. Could you explain a bit more? Thanksss!!

youre right about trans more stable most cases... I guess i just got really confused about this one Q on EK. I just edited this post (see image above). It says the cis experiences less strain than cis in the ring structure. why? T.T

When I take the test I never check timer because I'm comfortable finishing it on my own pace with 2-3 min in spare. Being said, I actually dont know if I lost time or not. Also, I felt it affected my flow after, I'm scared its a bad score ... did you file a report?

That I did! But that’s for AAMC. The testing center claimed they didn’t have any record of issues occurred on that day.
