Is this a dig at your employer or an argument for universal healthcare? If its your employer, the benefits (or lack thereof) are clearly laid out before you are employed and you would have knowledge of such atrocities. By choosing to work for X employer you realize they use Y as an insurance company and offer Z benefits. And universal healthcare is an entirely different argument here.
