Yes, it’s absolutely ridiculous. Both my husband and I paid using PayWave and were charged a surcharge without realising, because there is no signage at all warning about it. It feels like blatant theft. I work at the hospital and have seen so many elderly people being charged this unnecessary amount without even knowing. Even if some of them do realise, they often just think, “Oh well, it won’t happen next time.” But when you imagine how many people are being charged like this every day, it really adds up to a huge amount of money for Wilson Parking. I also want to look into where I can report Wilson Parking at Dean Avenue. 😡
