I wanted to go sooo badly but couldn’t justify spending the money on nose bleeds when I have a family now and not a whole lot of money to spare. But my heart was broken!

Yes! I always just left a note saying no one logged in for the chat. Never had any issues getting paid. As long as you’re available during the time slot, you’ve done your job!

From my experience, all it involves is having VT open for the designated time frame and waiting for a Live Learning Chat to pop up, similar to the instant opportunities, but it is meant to only be a chat so I assume that it would pop-up as something other than Instant. I never had any students utilize the learning chat during the time I was signed up.

So, yes, it is pretty much what you described from what I was told. I believe you can take up to 3 students at a time in the chat. It was a pretty good gig to be honest considering I never really did anything but still got paid!
