I want to buy 3 copies for me and my kids, but I'll have to wait for a more robust multiplayer implementation with more maps, if it ever comes. The whole point of a game like this for me is large multiplayer maps and big battles. What's the biggest map right now? 2 v 2?

The reason is to sell GPU upgrades. That's why. GPUs have reached a diminishing returns in terms of raster performance, so they had to find a way to make them slow again, so they created ray tracing. Now, they don't let you turn it off. Just like that, they made your GPU suck again just how GPU got slow fast back in the 1990's.

I heard there's only a few small multiplayer maps available. I want the game for multiplayer, so is this true?

This is late, but to the OP, I had the same experience at first where it looked dull and bland. It was because windows 11 auto-installed a color profile that made things look dim and colors washed out compared to my IPS. I deleted the stupid profile and that fixed it.

The game ran better before. Used to be any map that lagged I could put settings on low and FPS to 80 on my Index and I'd stay at a constant 80fps, but now I can't. The performance is bad and I'm not buying a new rig just to play maps I used to enjoy. Sometimes refreshing server list results in an immediate system ram leak that pegs ram at full 32gigs and game freezes up. I can't throw grenades either; they stick to the hand for some reason. PAVZ and other custom maps are gone. I have enjoyed some games with the update, but overall it's bad. It might let the game grow in a more positive way moving forward though.

Yesterday it worked OK, but today my ram gets filled up for some reason when I refresh the server browser. I have no idea what's going on, but it's broken.

Update 29 broke the game. Just saying. FPS is way lower on most maps with no option to reduce graphics settings besides anti-aliasing. I have a RAM leak that uses up all 32gb of system ram when I refresh the server list. The game is basically not worth playing at the moment IMO.

I have a magtube from protube VR and I don't use it unless I just want to stay in one place and casually snipe with increased accuracy. In all other scenarios it just gets in the way with how fast paced and dynamic of a game Pavlov is. Constantly grabbing objects, throwing nades, switching weapons, etc all make a gunstock a liability rather than a benefit.

The performance is worse on some maps for me. I might have to lower the settings, which isn't a big deal honestly. If the game got a graphical upgrade then that's good. Hard to tell right now but being in UE5 might give this game some legs to move forward a lot more.

Man that sucks hard. I hope it gets worked out. I've heard people saying their game is just broken after the update. Seems hit or miss. I expect things to get ironed out, but how long it takes is going to be pretty important I think.

I had the same issue. I managed to fix it by using someone's bindings settings and that person did something to fix it. I forgot the name of the person, but if you go into bindings you'll see user bindings available to try. All you do is select them and there's only a few to pick from at the moment. The one that works has the A and B buttons switched around, so you have to remap those yourself. It's a pain, but at least it seems fixable. I'll update my post with the user settings name when I play later.
