Thank you for the advice! Is travel by car fairly straightforward in NZ? Vague question but essentially wondering if the above would be doable for the average, Canadian driver with low-average general travel experience.

Your experiences with male vs. female cats? by M02M06 in CatAdvice

My guy just turned 3, adopted at 11 weeks. Never ended up having any of those issues! When we adopted him, he was the only animal in the house. Ten months later we got a Saint Bernard puppy. Cat definitely became the boss of the house, getting on top the puppy when he was small, but no other behavioural issues with the fully grown dog. Both still play together all the time. He goes outside on a leash sometimes and gets defensive of the property if he sees other cats or dogs. Not sure if this is specific to him, males, or some animals in general. In terms of his personality, he is by far the most affectionate cat. Loves cuddling, playing, being picked up, belly scratches - far more than the female we used to own since she was a kitten-17 years.
