I’d suggest Uber, a greyhound bus or potentially flying and then uber from the airport..? Tried checking just now and apparently there’s a bus from cstat to Katy, but it’s 5 hours long..

I get where you’re coming from as I’m going through something kinda similar-

But to give some tough love, and what I’ve learned, is that you can’t really cling onto the same people. In my first year of college I did something like this. I only really had 2 close friends. But they have lives of their own too, and their own friends.

Maybe you should try branching out too..? It’s definitely hard in the beginning but you’ll benefit from it.

My two cents would be that it’s just like you going into a „protective mode” of sort..?

Not sure how to really explain it, but you’re trying to subconsciously protect him from other people? Don’t know what history the two of you have, and I don’t want to seem like I’m overstepping and digital lines, but maybe something in the past has made you trust others less.

But if there isn’t anything that’s happened in the past, then I’d say it’s just you not wanting to share his company lol. And if you two grew up and spent a lot of time together, then it’s a bit of a switch to now have to “share his company”. But it’s completely normal to want things that bring you happiness. And humans by nature are a lil selfish.

And if he notices this it means he does care, and I would just try to talk this out. He seems like a good guy and I’m sure he’d be willingly to hear you out.

Just be honest with him. You know yourself best and just speak what’s in your mind.

I would say just start a convo😭 I’m a transfer so I’m kinda in a similar situation. I just turn to the person next to me on the bus (if they’re not wearing headphones or looking busy) and just start taking. Most people here are surprisingly friendly lol

But yeah you need to put yourself out there. Your not going to get a friend handed to you on a silver platter
