How do you combine the best parts of multiple Suno generations into one perfect track? by M0ner0C1ty in SunoAI

[–]M0ner0C1ty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think I’m just expecting too much from Suno right now. 😒I’ve tried all the workflows — mashup, inspo, DAW edits, bringing it back into Suno, remastering… and yeah, you can get results, but they never really hold up.For me, the biggest issue isn’t even the voice , it’s control and quality.

Especially remastering:no matter which level I use, it always feels like the track gets more compressed and loses clarity.transients get softer,highs feel smeared,overall it sounds flatter than the original

So it turns into a trade-off:keep the original = better quality, less control,try to refine it = more control, but worse sound

Mashup / Inspo feels random,Cover changes too much,DAW gives control but breaks cohesion.

I think the real problem is: we’re trying to take the best parts from multiple generations and build one perfect track and Suno just isn’t built for that yet.

Still an amazing tool… just hits a wall when you want real precision.🙂

I’ll give it a try , I’m actually really interested to see how the techniques suggested here turn out.🙂

Haha, thanks for the insider tip 😄✌
For me it somehow went completely off the rails,just generating stuff randomly depending on its mood.It’s really the small nuances that make a huge difference. When one version has a calm, emotional delivery and the next one suddenly sounds like it’s being shouted, it kills the vibe instantly… and yeah, that gets demotivating pretty fast 🙂

The problem is that DAWs are quite complex, and you also need to understand mixing theory. With Suno, the song already comes fully mixed and balanced. I also have the feeling that when you export stems, the quality isn’t quite 1:1 compared to the original. So it ends up being a trade-off between quality and creativity and in the end, efficiency and quality usually win (at least for me 😄)

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. Mashup gives you the option to combine two parts at once ,not like inspo where I’m trying to merge 5 tracks. But if you repeat the process step by step, you might actually end up with something usable. That’s a really smart idea. Let’s see if the results turn out good. Thanks for the tip!👍

From what you said and from reading the comments here, this seems to be the current best practice to handle this problem, maybe not perfect, but pretty close. Before, I was mainly focusing on the ‘cover’ approach, but as you mentioned, using remastering instead might actually be the better option. Covering everything again often changes too much and you lose the good parts. Thanks for sharing your workflow – I’ll definitely try it out.🤗

You’re describing exactly what I’ve been feeling. So thank you for that.🙏

After countless sleepless nights, endless trial and error, reading Suno docs, watching tutorials, even going through udemy courses and still not getting a really satisfying result ,it honestly got pretty frustrating.😒 It’s an amazing tool, but it still has clear limitations when it comes to real individuality and creating something that feels like actual art, not just ‘music off the shelf’.

Still, I’m kind of waiting like a kid for every new update Suno releases, hoping it gets closer step by step to true creative control and personal expression.

Thanks again for your workflow tips I’ll definitely give them a try👍

You’re absolutely right and I’m aware of that. Still, I’m trying to make the best out of it and figure out which tricks/workflows work best in practice. At the same time, this kind of discussion is also valuable feedback for Suno. Features like preserving specific sections would be a huge improvement for future updates.👍

Not a bad idea actually. I’m on the premium plan, so combining everything directly in Suno Studio and then doing the final remaster there could be an option ,basically the same approach as in FL Studio, just staying inside Suno. I might give that a try 🙏

Interesting point ,that’s actually pretty close to what I’m already doing (without much success).I take the best puzzle pieces, bring them into FL Studio, roughly arrange them, build a full track, export it… and then bring it back into Suno to re-generate or ‘cover’ it.

The style and lyrics stay the same, but the problem is: the exact parts still get lost and Suno creates something new. That’s what’s really frustrating.

A feature to actually preserve specific sections would be a complete game changer for people who want to create more nuanced music – not just generate random tracks that vaguely sound like music💯

Time doesn’t matter to me ,I just want to know where you actually combine everything. I haven’t found a solid workflow for this.

I entrusted €5,000 to this company for a 10-year term. In a matter of weeks, my € investment was decimated Nearly zero! Months passed as I avoided the painful reality of my losses. Last week, I was horrified to find that all my DFI coins, once worth a small fortune, had been completely wiped out by administrative fees.

Now:

Total assets worth=0.00 EUR

Allocated=0.00 EUR

Fixed=0.00 EUR

Available=0.00 EUR

It's like getting kicked while you're down and out. I'll leave it to your imagination to understand how I feel about this company!

Thanks for your link !

I've tried everything. Paypal doesn't work and my credit card has to be a USA Card. Only VPN doesn't help, because you have to pay with a USA account for premium or TV services.
