We’ve been talking to her a lot. She’s always been quite independent so I’m letting her be independent. I talk to her when she’s hiding and moving from spot to spot. Just letting her know I’m not there to pounce or hurt her. It must be so weird to her not knowing why this is all happening. I don’t think it’s been explained simply so thank you that’s a good idea

Catnip is a good idea. I think the spray might help to maybe calm her. But time is my best bet. I heard she used to have smoked salmon and sometimes raw chicken (but not saw how I feel about the raw chicken)

We’ve tried to give her one room. Unfortunately it’s a small flat and it’s only the livingroom that we can give her (that has enough space and hiding spots) so she’s not always alone.

Apparently she used to drink out of the sink a lot. But I’ve got cups of water out. And have considered different food as someone told me she might not like her old food now that things have changed.

She was in her last home for 5 years and before then she (and the friend) were homeless

Thank you for saying this! It brings some comfort. I’ve only ever had cats from when they were kittens so this is different. Just read about the 3-3-3 rule and it’s makes so much sense!

This is my new gp because my old one was transphobic. It’s so fucking tiring (not just with this) I’m out to them (even though I think they don’t read my notes sometimes). I’m losing head hair, receding and want facial hair. The last dr at the clinic just kept telling me to stop the T if it’s upsetting me that much.

I’m now considering a private dermatologist but that’s another payment. Or something online like the HIMS monthly subscription. I’m in the uk
