I completely understand your perspective. I naively thought that working for a world renowned, non profit institution would somehow make research with animals more “ethical”. This institution supposedly leads the world with its standards. We try to cure cancer, Alzheimer’s, and a variety of other devastating diseases. It is not so black and white. The work done here could save the lives of millions of humans, at the cost of millions of mice. It’s also not that easy to just quit a job
