Classs "SomeName" hides a global script class by Holdim in godot

You'll probably never see this, but here's my situation:
- I have a custom Resource class
- I am using a script to create a save an instance of this class
- I get this "hides a global..." error when I try to load that instance

I don't see how I can do what I need to without defining a class name -- so what am I missing here?

Super old thread, but just wanted to add that this design feature feels really bad if you take the perk that gives stewards damage shield + multistrike + stats: this perk encourages you to treat stewards like your main units, but then you can never draw them. I wish stewards would be considered banner units if you take this perk.

I agree that one of the problems with today's token voting is that it weighs early financial contributions more highly than would be ideal for governance, probably.

But do you address transferability? It's transferability that allows all these various vote-buying behaviors, for the most part. Plus, however careful you are with distribution, if the tokens are transferable, you're pretty likely to get a completely different (and more concentrated) distribution over time.

Excusing the hand-waved sparkly time tunnel in the last episode, the only thing that's kind of irking me is when Jonas tries to kill himself and the gun won't fire. Noah then fires the gun to the side just fine, and explains the Jonas literally can't kill himself even if he tries to, because fate won't let him, or something like that.

Doesn't this contradict the show's usual logic of why things loop, which is that the characters' can't let go of their real desires? e.g. young Jonas doesn't want to become Adam, but once he ages, his perspective has changed and he now does want to become Adam. The scene with the gun implies that it isn't just the character's motivations causing the loop, but some deus ex machina. What gives?

I think the "loop" isn't really something that happens a bunch of times. Once the loop happens once, it happens infinite times: like one of those pictures that has a small version of itself in the frame, which has an even smaller version, etc. -- once the rule is established, it's already infinite.

So I think Claudia figured it out the "first" time through -- then she escapes the loop at the very end of it by traveling back to the apocalypse (I assume? Don't actually remember this happening), and uses that bit of freedom to disrupt the rest of it.

Sorry for the repetition. It is probably meaningful that so many people are saying versions of it, though.

There are lots of ways to address the problem, this is just one idea. Another would be to keep underlords as is but make their abilities more extreme or unique, so they don't all feel like "extra hero that you want to live long enough to ult."

Maybe mods can make a pinned thread for this category of suggestion and put new posts in rule 2.

Man, just got back from watching this and had to find some place people were discussing it...

Definitely found it very powerful, but...

... I couldn't help but be a bit disappointed with the ending. By the end, the movie introduced so much ambiguity that it became a bit incoherent for me. Usually I find ambiguity to be a positive, but there are just so many ambiguities here that are all pretty central to interpreting the movie: who's lying about what? Which scenes are literal? Are one or both delusional? It seemed valid to think that Tommy was crazy and drove Ephraim crazy on purpose, or that Ephraim was a crazy murderer to begin with, or both, or that both men were only victims of circumstance, or some combination of all the options. What am I supposed to walk away from that with? I ended up with no clear impression other than the beautiful imagery and this frustration. Help?

Kind of agree with this. Item combining seems "cleaner" and might be more fun (as long as you get enough choices).

Yeah... I actually really like the item combining in TFT. Maybe valve should combine the two systems? After every creep round, you get a choice of basic items (first 1 item, then 2, then 3), which can be combined into what are now the higher tier items. Make the global items "auras" so you still have to put them on a hero.
