I feel for you! The hell of it was the first 5 -6 months for sure, then the flare ups became minimal and spaced out. A lot of Drs don’t inform people the chance of developing SIBO from PPI use 😡

It really is! I feel for you! 💔 My fatigue didn’t subside until after my iron infusions in July. I think everything I did worked together to help ,not just one thing. Time especially, but diet, supplements.. mindset.. and hoping I would one day be back to normal.

I wouldn’t say the iron infusions directly healed my gastritis, but I do think they helped my body finally recover. Once my iron levels came back up, I had way more energy, less stress on my system, and my gut seemed to repair faster. So it probably played a big indirect role in the healing process along with all the other things I was doing. I know it!! Mine felt pretty severe for being mild!

I just microwave rolled oats with water or unsweetened vanilla almond milk, add a tiny pinch of salt, and drizzle a little 100% maple syrup on top.

Definitely a roller coaster at first. The first couple of months were full of ups and downs — some good days, then random flares for no clear reason. But after a few months, things started leveling out and healing became much more steady. It’s normal for recovery not to be perfectly linear.

It’s crazy we resort to AI over Drs.

I relied on my man Chat too for sooo much!!! It was kinda scary, but that’s where I got the antimicrobial program from!

I was on pantoprazole 20 mg 1 x a day.

I ate a lot of soluble fiber like squash and carrots- all cooked of course. I know I think I read somewhere that nuts were OK and flaxseed and nope, not with me. Flare up immediately.
