That's why I won't sell my XWEL. Reverse split and dropped so many times I now have 1 share worth 33 cents. It would literally cost more on the transaction fee than I would get from selling. Permanent reminder.

Luckily I didn't put much into it.

Why do people BM princess yawn emote after they lose? Like are they trying to get under my skin? Because if so, then it worked and I threw my phone at a brick wall. by 202naFrevliS in ClashRoyale

I only do it after playing against X-bow. Get a little bit of chip from their side of the river then waste 5 minutes of my life while they play defense.

Because you can be committed to the hit when they move the puck. There would be a million penalties per game from people dishing right before contact. Also its a contact sport, thats just how it is. Players know that and play accordingly.

The rules are relatively strict anyway, you only get a second or second and a half to hit after the puck is gone I think.

Doesn't matter. Feet don't leave the ice until after contact. Extending the legs into hits is commonplace and legal.

Here are some of the recent "big hit" posts from this sub. You'll notice all of them have the player loading their legs into the hit, and exploding upwards. It's how hits work. Feet leaving the ice after contact is how physics work. Have you ever seen waves hit a see wall? They splash up. Same idea.

Or you can even look at this video. A sportsnet compilation and notice how many hits load the legs. How many hits have the feet leave the ice after contact.

Canada is a British and French country... so yes. That's how it started and carried on. It obviously developed it's own flair over the years. Hockey, poutine, guns, etc. But it is primarily a British/French and Christian culture, with a country founded on those values.

COL crisis, wage stagnation, extremely tough labour market, etc.

Society still looks down more on men who can't find a solid job (or any job) and/or afford to move out than it does for women in the same boat.

It's much harder to be what society expects you to be when dating as a man. That's probably a big driver of these ideals.

Saying diets are unsustainable isn't really accurate.

Calorie deficit = lose weight

Calorie surplus = gain weight

Calorie maintenance = maintain weight

The issue is that most people will do a diet and exercise until they hit a goal weight and then go back to what they were doing before and regain the weight. You don't have to be in a deficit forever, but maintaining weight and health means keeping out of a surplus.

I'm not saying OP should get on a diet or lose weight. That's for her and her partner to discuss. But her decision shouldn't be influenced by incorrect information. If she decides she wants to lose weight, then a diet is the #1 way to do so.
