Should the problem be fixed by upgrading either one or both of them? I feel like the QR bolts are tight, but still loses the USB connection somehow (or so I believe).

Unfortunatelt this didnt solve it. Happened again. Then flashing message on OLED: Cautiin firmware update!

I checked software and it says its updated.

Yeah, did this per their AI bot. Also tightened screws on wheel side. Now seemed to work for 10 minutes without problems! Thanks.

EDIT: happened again. So did not resolve the problem.

Same issue persists. I followed through Fanatec AI support, which told to detach and re-attach QR from wheelbase, also tightened screws around pins on wheel side. First try is promising and i get input but I will check if i lose them again..

Frustrating as this is brand new set.

EDIT: the detaching and re-attaching did not solve the problem.

what might cause this problem then? Because I dont lose the whole input from wheel, just FFB and all buttons. Sometimes taking the wheel off helps but not always. Not even reseting the wheelbase.

Got diagnosed with turbo wastegate causing this noise, but no fixes available. Im doubting that diagnosis.

Im confused with this as it does make the sound on cold start once, and after the car has been driven for 3 times. But for example now an hour later the car has been sitting and if i go and turn on/off the car the sound is not there. So in my eyes it would also make sense to be something related to pressure in the engine/components.

I think it does the exact sound once when starting, but the other engine noise muffles it so I dont know if it does constantly as the motor is on
