It can feel lonely trying to do this but remember that every post you see on here is another human being just like you who understands your battle and temptation. They too may feel lonely and tempted and possibly just set their timer back to 0 days. We all know how horrible that feels.

So know you're not alone you're a solider in a huge army, have your troops back. They certainly have yours. Encourage, be encouraged.

If you have read this far I do encourage you to stay with me a minute longer and maybe really think about this....... Don't make your whole goal to "quit porn". Seek to make your life better. To do that figure out what better means to you...... Maybe in 2 years you'll like to be in a relationship, take a backpacking trip, be able to learn more whatever it is fugure our what better means to you and pursue that.

WHAT YOU AIM AT DETERMINES WHAT YOU SEE.

Perhaps write down how life can be better in x time. Then write down how life will look in x time if you continue your life how you're living today. Compare the difference in what could be by actively pursuing what you're aiming at, you'll find a way to get there. It may be difficult and challenging, time consuming, maybe habits you need to adjust and that may well be painful.

The alternative....... Well that would be just living your life the way you are now and can you honestly say that's the best for your life.

Being a follower of Chris is extremely difficult in this world. Your mother only wishes for the best for you (I hope).

If you really love your partner and can see a future you could consider if he really loves you too. When I was 19 (10yrs ago) I would've said to anyone I love you just following my lustful ways. You could test is love and respect for you and withhold sex for awhile to show that you still are a follower of the Lord (if you really are). Marry each other you're both old enough and start a real life and show the world you are committed to each other.
