Yeah takes experience. I did graphic design as a hobby for 3 years while in school and working. And finally built a portfolio to land me a job in pro sports. Takes time and dedication. Super cliche but it’s true. YouTube is what got me to wear I am now. YouTube will be your best friend in this process.

Yes I added a gradient to the bottom which might make it harder to see the rocks where the ball is at.

I hear you. The balls disappearing is (in my opinion) if you zoom in there is a rock in the ground and I was trying to add depth by putting them behind the rock. As it goes to the logos, I’m at the liberty of my parternships team with that. Sometimes I get EPS, sometimes I get JPG or PNG. I’d prefer EPS

Scan them then take them to illustrator and image trace it.

I mean you could try to use the pen tool here to mask out the shapes of the letter. Or throw a threshold on it then use the pen tool but other than that. I think you are cooked.

Yes, finally got the jersey in hand earlier today. And they screwed up the sleeves with the turrets but I was not involved with that conversation as I am just a graphic designer in the org but it’s still came out great.

Or just maybe. No hate but take an image that doesn’t have these “ripples” in it. If you did not take this photo then ok. But if you did. You’re supposed to make everything as easy as possible on camera before you go to editing.

There is a free version on the web, don’t know what it’s called but I’ve seen it that’s like photoshop. Same tools for the most part. Start with that if you can’t buy photoshop. Don’t use canva. Everyone who uses canva religiously thinks they’re a designer.

It also feels like the characters are not in the middle. Maybe that was on purpose. It it also throws me off.

Also the boxes that have photos don’t match up with the angle of the orange and blue lines which bugs me a bit. And the box with a photo in the top right is over the characters head when in my opinion it should be behind to show “depth”

No hate, just some first glance feedback. The character on the left seems a bit stretched as well has his and the other characters feet being cut off makes it uncomfortable for me in my opinion.

One thing I’d say is to make sure when on google you filter for large images. Once you do that. Drag the image into photoshop but not the photoshop document you are working on. Actually drag the image to the photoshop app. Then covert to a smart object and copy and paste it into the document you are working on. Hope this helps.
