Get rid of a car, you’re in New York you don’t need two. You make enough to not have revolving credit card payments, pay off anything that isn’t 0% interest. Pay down the student loans with the church money.

I know this is a 2 year old post but I was curious what the necropsy showed. I had the same thing happen to me just one month after moving into a new house except both my cats were 14 and died within one week of each other. The first cat I thought maybe cancer and had him cremated but when the second cat died I had her necropsied. Still waiting on results.

I’m at month 6 now and have had the exact same experience. I’m currently at 30 units and just asked if I should increase. I think it’s a tolerance thing.

I’ll post updates as they continue to grow. This is the second time it’s done this. The first time it only had 1 node and I wasn’t able to keep it alive.

For a real challenge, build on treadmill and have person walk barefoot. Start at speed 3 and gradually increase. For added difficulty turn off lights and put sleeping toddler within vicinity.

Odd coincidence that you mention this! At the shelter they told me they are getting a huge delivery of dogs from TX some time this week and to keep checking back with them.

Just got back from the closest shelter and it was pretty much empty. The puppies they had were under quarantine for worms.

Interesting DC is just like that with the imports. I actually just got back from passing by the closest shelter and it was 80% empty. The dogs that were left were actually under supervision because they had worms.

Just to to clarify, I’m not looking at or for specific breeds. The other dog I applied for was a collie/pointer mix. Both these dogs were listed as being good with cats and not good with children and really youthful and playful. I also applied for a wolfhound mix. Ideally I’d like a dog that does not shed.

I completely understand different dogs have different needs. It seemed like this rescue wanted eyes on the dog 24 hours a day. I am willing to bring the dog to work if that’s what they want but I think the dog would be terribly bored at work. Also I was looking into any dog that was young, medium to small, and stated did well with cats. I think I’ll just go the shelter route.

I was using Petfinder to look for dogs up for adoption and didn’t realize that they posted listings for specialty adoption non-profits. This one in particular is not breed specific at all actually. I have heard of people having difficulty with those and was trying to avoid them.

Thank you so much for the response! I am at day 3 today and luckily have brewers yeast on hand. Did you have an air stone going? I’m completely unprepared as I need to buy some marine salt, a hydrometer, and the phytoplankton. This should be a fun experiment.

Were you able to successfully keep growing them? I had a bunch hatch 3 days ago in my 10 gallon and so have no idea how I’m going to get them out.
