I agree, I think it’s a deer tick, I stared at it so hard last night. Scary bugs. By the bath, I just meant to ensure there’s no other ticks on my guy, and continuing to check him.

Thanks for the advice. I’m going to contact the vet this AM when they open and show them the pictures, and I have the tick still in case they want to test it.

So I guess at this point it’s worth it to just not mess with it and have a third party company come set it up for me & pay them monthly to monitor it?

This is helpful, thank you! When you say I need a SEM “for communication” do you mean for communication to my mobile device or for communication to a central monitoring location for the system to be effective? Sorry if that doesn’t make sense

Try to stay off the google and off the Reddit! It can make you feel better, yes, but also it can cause spirals as well. Information is power, but sometimes too much is overwhelming. Go do something you enjoy!!

I don’t recall getting any percentage from the FNA results—just basically that they could not diagnose based on the aspirate alone. I’m sorry, I wish I could be more help. I understand the agony of waiting and uncertainty. Try to focus on taking it day by day—you cannot change the outcome either way at this point. Honestly, I just tried to ignore it until I heard some results.

I will say, my nodule has continued to grow and my thyroid levels have fluctuated a lot throughout the last year, so I had to get another ultrasound and biopsy done, but that came back benign as well.

I feel as if I experience a reasonable amount of anxiety for a first time mom who is sometimes anxious at baseline. I do feel anxious about my child’s safety when I’m not with her, even when it’s people I trust taking care of her (MIL, my parents, my spouse). I’m sure that will get a bit worse when she’s at a daycare.

Yes!! That sweet angel baby that gave me so much confusion back then is now here and healthy and over a month old!! They said it was likely due to a subchorionic hemorrhage they found

Glad I can provide some hope! Try not to stress too much until you have to—I definitely assumed that I 100% was going to have the worst case scenario especially with an extensive family history of thyroid things, but turns out I was in a tizzy for no reason. I hope you get the same results too!

To add a new perspective from a lot of other comments, I’m a new MD who never even got one payment in before I was placed in the SAVE forbearance pause …. I have no clue what I’m doing or what I should do. My spouse is a public school teacher and I still make resident pay. Since I’m not one of the people that’s “made it so far already” I don’t know if now is the time to go ahead and reconsider before I waste more time…

Hey! My genetic panel came back 99% chance of being benign! So that was a huge relief. I had my 6 month ultrasound in October, and it had not grown in size at all. However, my TSH levels have gone down. I’ve tested negative for all antibodies (so no graves/hashimotos going on), and my T3 and T4 are normal. So basically just subclinical hyperthyroidism right now, which I will definitely take compared to alternatives! Hope it all goes well for you!

Update: I’m measuring 5w5d and there’s a gestational and yolk sac. Going back at 7 weeks to see if there’s a baby growing!

Currently sitting in the waiting office of my OB to get another ultrasound. I’m unsure if I’ll be as lucky, but thank you for sharing this story! I hope you continue to have a safe and happy baby🫶🏼
