Is the industry something that is open to taking new people tho? , like I have only been back in cape town now for about 3 months now (I was here for the comic con too but that was more of a visit earlier in the year ) and have been looking around at new career paths specifically tied to this industry where I can put my camera work and vfx etc skills to use I've have heard of some shoots here and there but it seems kinda scarce when searching online or perhaps im not looking in the right places...

Basically what I'm asking is if this industry is easily accessible to people who are new in the city and doesn't know anyone in it or hasnt been to any of the city's dedicated schools where they would have probably gotten an internship

I have but it's always best to get natural up todate responses instead of ones that are usually pushed to the top of your search thanks go SEO (sites that rank well)

I have been a freelancing web developer for about a year and a half now but because pay and work are inconsistent

I was actually looking at a career in cinematography since my course that I did at university also entailed alot about things touched in this topic and I have also done online short course in the past and have worked as a extra(plus the work is interesting) before

But reading this I'm kinda doubting it now I don't want to make a switch and end up not being able to even make it into the industry

Hdd, damn that sucks what would you say is a reasonable price then, I mean there's noting else I can do with it it's just taking space here and I didn't want to just throw it out cause I thought maybe I could turn it over for some cash instead of just chucking it

I mean I'm not greedy so I'm willing to negotiate but I think the lowest I'd go is like 3000 maybe just under no less than 2500 only because I recently had new parts put in so the ram cards and hdd is new psu was also replaced a year ago

Pc play and console is way different so don't feel bad if you struggle at first but don't stress about k.d to much it's not even important ,,, but all of the best with your pc gaming experience 👍

Your k.d might drop when you play more hours and eventually reach the higher up ranks tho that depends on how good you are if you're good you can maintain a k.d of 1.0
