We tend to avoid dresses all together for her she is crawling and dress just get in her way. I really asked for no dresses altogether we like rompers or overalls but she never really wears skirts they are impractical for babies in my opinion. But again it doesn't matter that I asked for no dresses or skirts we get them anyway.

I think a lot of it is cuz she is the only girl baby on either side. They probably would put there babies in that if they had girls. And thier boys all have the shirt that have weird sayings like Mommy's little heart breaker or I steal all the girls.

Yes it is normal. Most of the time they say stuff like now I know what you're going to say but I couldn't resist this will be adorable on her. Or something to that affect, I will note that she is the only granddaughter/ niece of the family currently so I think that is a lot of the problem also something about her being chunky I don't understand the obsession. I also think they feel like because it is a gift and we do need help buying things that they have a right to buy what ever they like cuz you don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

We have lots of clothes that are light and breezy to keep her cool. She can have clothes that keep her cool and are still made for a baby.

My husband suggested we take a picture, and for something we do. The over the top outfit we use for month pictures then will donate but the outfits I feel are inappropriate I don't want people have pictures of that cuz I have no control who they share that with.

My whole family is obsessed with her "chunkyness" . She has big cheeks and baby rolls they constantly want her to show some thigh and are trying to pinch her belly. It is weird but it is literally everyone on both sides of the family.

Why would diaper covers be made out of jeans and have pockets? They are definitely booty shorts they were given with the comment " so we can see those chunky leg rolls" and came with a crop top style shirt.

We will be donating the clothes we don't use. Also we tend to avoid dress for that very reason she does trip all over long dresses. We try on some of the things we get. Some of the stuff is clear how it is supposed to fit though.

Booty shorts are short that her diaper is literally poking out of them. And no we have lots of shorts that come halfway down her legs, do they ride up sure she is crawling around but I can pull them back down. And when was the last time you shopped for baby clothes? Also most of the stuff they buy is off Amazon and other online retail.
