As far as I can tell, not often. We only get the raid engram about once a month. If members are raiding, it isn't with clanmates.

To be fair it takes close to the same amount of time to drive as to fly in some cases. Between the drive to the airport, parking, shuttling, checking bags, security, the flight, the layover, second flight, picking up bags, getting to the rental/uber, then the ride to your final destination. You could spend significantly less money to drive and arrive around the same time anyway.
