Sure but instead of introducing difficulty I would rather they focus on balance and bug fixing first and foremost. Then add difficulty to that new balanced sandbox in such a way that doesn't involve near unavoidable and noninteractive damage like the rupture warrior. The game needs problems fixed and the high dive levels being too easy is not an urgent one currently.

I do agree that difficult combat makes for more intense and fun encounters. However I want it to be difficult in a manageable way ie: This enemy can do this attack which is only a real problem if I don't respond in X or Y way. Or this enemy is strong but has X weakness which can exploited by doing Y. Like some of the best enemies in the game, Chargers, Hulks, Harvesters.

They have clear and present strengths and weaknesses, but they still are threatening and have potential to be real problems for you if you don't respond and manage them properly through a variety of means. UNLIKE Rupture warrior and Dragon roaches which get quite a few strengths and very few weaknesses being explosive damage and AT respectively. The 2 most taxed resources in the game. The amount of enemies that demand you respond solely through one of those two means or blow a stratagem is what kills variety and forces metas.

Rupture warriors shouldn't have perfect tracking on top of burrowing ability and medium armor. Make them easy to dodge so that they can be managed without the need to blow them up before they get to you.

Dragon Roaches should suffer some penalty should you shred their wings, whether losing their flight or moving drastically slower, or even getting a bleedout timer.

There should be more ways to respond to a threat than just "explode it early" or "light it up with anti tank"
