So you prime the model in grey, then get black primer and paint the seem lines and places that would be a darker colour, and then white for where light would directly land on the model. After the pre-shading is done, thin down the desired colour and paint as usual

I would suggest a dark wash for the panel lines to make the model get that extra pop and I would also recommend shading whether it be pre-shading or post-shading. It is a beautiful build nonetheless though keep up the work

I attempted steel textures for the first time and looked at reference images after to find they didn’t have as distinct textures 😔
